Patricia Swanson's work examines the relationships between personal and universal narratives through image-making and writing. Her work merges traditional and digital photographic techniques to explore the physicality of image making and the importance of the photographic object as the embodiment of time, memory, personal narrative and identity.
Patricia Swanson is an artist from Seattle, Washington and is currently living in Lafayette, Indiana. She received her BA in Studio Arts and English Literature from Western Washington University and her MFA in Photography at the Tyler School of Art.
